Ok, so everyone knows Susie- she’s the most precious, perfect, spoiled little puppy dog. But who is this crazy animal lady running around with 4 pets? My name is Rhianna. I’m 24 years old, and I believe that animals are better than most humans.
Ok so maybe that’s a little extreme. I actually love humans too. I graduated from the University of Washington with my Bachelors of Science in Nursing, and I work full time at a huge trauma hospital in Seattle, Washington. I work in a smaller clinic inside that hospital that specializes in HIV primary care, primarily for homeless and less privileged individuals. I believe that those truly in need are the ones who are often forgotten about and who are looked down upon. Similar in a way of our wonderful pets, they quite often need us because they are so vulnerable and need our support and care. Where I work I can focus on the needs of this population of people, work on bettering the significance of preventative care, and work on breaking down the stigma behind diseases such as those living with HIV.
But, in my spare time, my dog and my pets are number 1. I’ve made it my goal to go out in the wilderness at least once a week rain or shine. Susie and I try to hit up a new dog park, a new nearby trail, or go somewhere fun and dog-friendly. There are always fun events going on around Seattle! Sometimes on warm, clear days I will paint on a canvas in a park (and MAYBE someday I’ll show off a painting here that I’m proud of…but that won’t be for quite some time). Sometimes I’ll feel musically inclined and learn more tunes on my guitar or piano. But mostly you’ll find me out exploring with the best hiking buddy you could ever find.
Got any questions? Feel free to reach out to me and I’ll be sure to respond within 24 hours. Look forward to hearing from you!
